The mechanical team at Juchli Engineering assisted Civida Affordable Housing with upgrading the building management system (BMS) at various sites, such as Sherbrooke, Stadium, Flagstaff, Inglewood, and Stony Plain manor. The client was presented with various cost and benefit options for upgrading the controls, ranging from simple to highly customizable. In the end, they opted for highly customizable controls from local automated control companies to achieve the highest level of maintenance, efficiency, and control. During the construction process, boilers at Flagstaff and Sherbrooke were deemed to require replacement. The mechanical team was retained to assist with the replacement design, ensuring allowances for installation in conjunction with the ongoing controls project.
The Juchli Engineering electrical team has also assisted with the design of fire alarm replacements at various Civida Afforable Housing buildings.
